Vida Glow Beauty Protein (Chocolate, Vanilla)
Protein is the foundation of beauty.
Hair, skin and nails are mostly protein. These proteins are known as keratin, collagen and elastin and they play an important role in keeping wrinkles at bay, giving skin elasticity and strengthening hair.
Achieving glossy hair, strong nails and glowing skin is typically the result of having quality protein in the diet. Protein is key to beauty, however, not all proteins are created equally.
Consuming amino acids are of great importance for the health of our largest organ, our skin. Two in particular, which our Beauty Protein is rich in, directly affect the natural production of collagen in our bodies. These are Proline and Lysine. Proline is considered a non-essential and Lysine one of the nine essential amino acids. Together with Vitamin C they are responsible for producing procollagen that converts to collagen types I and III which enhance the appearance and health of skin.
Our Beauty Protein powder contains Certified Organic Pea Protein, Brown Rice Protein, Sacha Inchi Protein, Chia Seeds and are packed with healthy omega fatty acids and digestive enzymes.
Essential fatty acids (EFAs) are vital for the health and radiance of skin, they’re also a powerful anti-aging ingredient. EFAs help cells retain water, which plumps the skin and reduces the visible signs of ageing such as wrinkles which occur with age as our bodies naturally lose the ability to hold on to water. If you suffer from oily skin, EFAs are a must add to your diet, although they are fats, EFAs help the cell transference process which help flush fats and oils that lead to clogged pores. So as well as providing moisture, EFAs also assist in reducing oiliness. It’s important to remember that the body does not produce EFAs naturally so supplementing your diet is extremely beneficial for your skin.
Our Beauty Protein provides the essential fatty acids Omega - 3 and Omega - 6 in a healthy ratio of 3:1, and is one of the very few sources of the beneficial Gamma Linolenic Acids (GLA) which is a plant-derived Omega 6 property that is metabolised efficiently by the body and difficult to obtain from even a healthy diet.
Further our protein powders are rich in antioxidants, magnesium, iron, potassium, beta-carotene and calcium.
Our Beauty Protein is available in natural delicious flavours of Vanilla or Chocolate.
